Application of SIMULINK Simulation Technology on PWR Purification System Reliability Analysis with GO Methodology
GO Methodology is a success-oriented method for system reliability analysis, with an advantage of allowing direct quantitative calculation of system reliability. But when analyzing a complicated system with many components, it becomes extremely hard for us to calculate the system reliability under this method. Hence, specialized GO algorithm calculation tools become necessary. Traditionally, we depend on software to work out GO algorithm programmes, which nevertheless is a complicated and time-consuming process. Given the characteristic that the calculation of GO Methodology is based on the united rates of states of signal flow, we can use SIMULINK, which is a type of software dealing with signals, to construct reliability calculation and analysis simulator according to GO algorithm. This paper studies how to apply this method to the process of system rehabihty calculation. The GO algorithm calculation simulator was constructed with SIMULINK. The reliabihty of PWR purification system in 240 hours was calculated. And the final results show that the whole process can be greatly simplified by applying SIMULINK to it and the shared signals to systems rehability must be considered.
