Application of Spatial Statistical Method in Botanical Research
In this paper we apply J function, Jij function and mark correlation function mcf(r)to analyze longleaf pines data, obtain much valuable results. Our results show that spatial statistical methods are helpful for understanding the causes of the patterns observed in a forest stand. These statistics functions will enhance the assessment of interactions between kinds of trees, potentially leading to improved forest management.
