The Empirical Analysis of the Coordination Development Between Industry and Agriculture in Xinjiang-Base On ECM and Granger Causality Test Perspective

The paper has studied the coordination development between industry and agriculture in Xinjiang based on ECM and Granger Causality Test perspective since the reform and opening up. First of all, time series of industry and agriculture in Xinjiang is both non-stationaries based on ADF test during the sample period, but co-integration test shows that: there is a long-term stable-balanced relationship between industry and agriculture in Xinjiang. Besides, ECM shows that the based period of agricultural output value has been effect on the based period of industrial output value and the lagged period of agricultural output value, and the agricultural output value has the ability to time-adjustment process at -0.3346 speed in order to transform an imbalance state to a balance state. Whats more, Granger causality test shows that there is one-way Granger causality effect between industry and agriculture in Xinjiang. On the basis of it, the paper analyses the reason for un-coordination development between industry and agriculture in Xinjiang.
