Research on the Efficiency of Building a Harmonious Society Based on DEA
A harmonious society is a state and outcome of the social development, but it is unreasonable to analyze how to build a harmonious society only from the angle of outcome. An ideal state of building harmonious society is both high efficiency and high level. The paper measures the efficiency of 30 provinces in China with DEA model, and discovers the relation between efficiency and level is inconsistent among many provinces. The paper aims to discuss reasons for this problem and give some advices on how to enhance the efficiency and development level.
