Evaluation on Enterprise Scale Development in China Oriented by Regional Coordination
With integration trends in the global economy, regional coordination constantly strengthens. Over the years the number of global 500 enterprises in developed countries gradually reduced, while number of enterprises in developing countries is opposite. Compared with the developing trend of world economy, it indicates that regional capacity of enterprise scale is extremely is equilibrium in Chinese four regions. This paper measures regional capacity of enterprise scale index by using of 18 indicators and data of 30 provinces in 2002 and 2007 of China 500 and Private 500. At present, RCES index is high in eastern region, low in central region and northeast region, lowest in western region.
