Suggest Title: Shift-Share Analysis Method Applied to Measuring the Competitiveness of Manufacturing Sector in Heilongjiang Province
Based on the Shift-share method, this research analyzes the manufacturing of Heilongjiang according to the data of the year 2003 to 2006 since the Northeast China Old Industrial Base Rejuvenation Strategy was carried out, this paper finds that the structure of Heilongjiangs manufacturing is better than the average level of China while the competition level of the 19 subindustries is worse, and the whole competition level is lower compared with the level of China. The paper gives three proposals to enhance the competitiveness of Heilongjiangs manufacturing.
