The Effect Analysis for the Impact of International Direct Investment on Chinese Trade
Chinese foreign trade and international direct investment are growing rapidly in the same direction; it means that the two aspects exist co-promoted relationship. Based on the predecessors analysis of the international trade, direct international investment theory and empirical research, the paper uses the data from 1982 -2005, analyzes the relationship between international trade and direct international investment inflow since the reform and opening up of China. The result of the analysis shows that there exists a long-term and stable relationship between Chinese foreign trade and direct international investment flow. The paper also gave out some recommendations about the policy mechanism of foreign direct investment, investment environment, and participation degree in accordance with the impact characteristics of international direct investment on Chinese trade.
