This research sets up econometric models to analyze temporospatially the market divisions in Northeast China and the effect of market divisions on the coordinated economic development of Northeast China. We find out that after 2002, Northeast China has shown a tendency of coordinated economic development, which is set back by regional market divisions. This research also shows that the effect of regional market divisions on the coordinated development of Northeast China is closely related to regional industrial structure, and high-level regional coordinating organizations play very important roles in breaking the market divisions and promoting the coordinated economic development.
