Research on Tactics of Corporate Citizenship Engaging in Social Welfare Activities

Corporate citizenship has been around in various forms and to different degrees for several centuries, some of the most ancient being in the Chinese tradition (J. Smith, 1987; Lum, 1985; Twitchett, 1959). The interest in maintaining a healthy society is present in business culture because it helps to create a climate to do well in business. Good corporate citizenship indicates that it is a new idea, which results in combination intrinsic enterprises benefit with extrinsic social demand. Practice proves that corporation will achieve business purposes by common contribution, topic contribution or plan of public relation (PR), collaboration with NPO and establishment of Charitable Fund Association.
