The Optimal Combination of Pumps in Pipeline Process Design

摘要：

This paper proposes that integer programming approach can be used in selecting different types of pump to combine them in series or in parallel. A mathematical model is established. And a computer program is compiled to solve the model and obtain the best combination of pumps.
