Principle Components and Factor Analysis Applied on Effective Impact in Inter-Province Coordination-Case Study from Southern Areas, Changjiang River

In recent years, domestic and foreign scholars have done much research on the cross-border regional coordination mechanism, but the current study is more qualitative description, lacking of quantitative assessment, so it is difficult to fully reflect the weight, influencing factors and so on of the elements. In this paper, given full consideration to the elements which effect the cross-border regional coordination mechanism of the south areas of the Changjiang River, we used the Principal Component Analysis and the Factor Analysis to analysis the elements, capturing the key factors and gaining the decentralized map of the provinces, which clearly exhibited the external support capabilities of the provinces, just leaving their own situation out of account or all provinces hit below the equality of unexpected events.
