A Vendor Selecting Based on the Method of Fuzzy Clustering Analysis

The selection of vendor is very important in the course of procurement. Whether the goods are supplied or not could influence the competence of enterprise. The number of suppliers that can be selected increases gradually, and more information needed to be handled with the development of computer and network technology. Thus how to select the vendors effectively among many suppliers is the key problem as to procurement. Based on the problem above, this paper brings up the Method of Fuzzy Clustering Analysis. That selecting the vendors in all clusters exactly by classifying the vendors beforehand makes the process of selecting the vendors quick and effective.
