A Method of Discriminant Analysis Based on Information Entropy and Its Application

摘要：

Discriminant analysis is a branch of the Multivariate statistical analysis. The method was applied in Biometric firstly and it has been widely used in many disciplines at present. The methods of discriminant analysis include Mahalanobiss Approach, Bayses Approach and Fishers Approach etc. In this paper the author introduce a new method of discrimination analysis based on the theory of information entropy and gives the calculation of an example.
