A New Model for Highway Freight Traffic Volumes Forecasting Based on Grey Theory and Statistical Learning Theory
On the base of analyzing the advantages and the disadvantages of grey forecasting methods and support vector regression machine (SVR), synthesizing the both and constructed a new model, grey support vector regression machine and its arithmetic. Moreover, test and compare the availability and reliability of the model via the example. The simulation results show that the new model is one of the effective methods for forecasting.
