Power Study on the Eztended Doguwas Estimator of J Function
G, Fand J are three popular summary statistics in point processes which are often used as test statistics in statistical analyses and inferences. Edge-effects are unavoidable when we estimate summary statistics in point patterns which are realizations of point processes in bounded windows. Three representative estimators of and were extended to by Wu Xiao-kun (2006) where bias, sample variances and envelops were compared. Powers based on estimators of function Jwere compared in this paper, combining with Wu Xiao-kun (2006), a conclusion can be drawn that the extended Doguwas estimator of has some advantages over the other two compared in this paper in J the view of simulation. So, the extended work is effective and we can put the extended Doguwas estimator of into statistical inference in practice.
