Comparative Study on the Powers based on Estimators of J Function
G, F and J are three popular summary statistics which are often used as test statistics G F J in point processes. Edge-effects are unavoidable when we estimate summary statistics in point patterns which are realizations of point processes in bounded windows. Three representative estimators of G and F were extended to J by Wu Xiao-kun (2006) where bias, sample variances and envelops were compared. Powers based on estimators of J function were compared in this paper, combining with Wu Xiao-kun (2006), a conclusion can be drawn that the extended Doguwas estimator of J has some advantages over the other two compared in this paper in the view of simulation.
