Design and Implementation of Wireless Network Remote Transmission System for JPEG Image
With the rapid development of the broadband and the embedded system, many remote transmission systems for image based on network technology have vigorously been developed. But, in most of these systems, the core chip is DSP which needs more complicated algorithm, higher development cost, lower system stability and worse maintainability. In order to overcome the above drawbacks, this paper presents the JPEG image remote transmission system which has the characteristics of simple structure, low cost and high applicability. In the system, OV528 is used to compress raw image data, then the Rabbit chip controls CDMA module to transmit JPEG image to remote monitor center. The system, which has the features of the easy installation, without additional wiring and unlimited transmission distance, could be widely applied in many fields, such as the disaster monitor, the automobile guard against theft and the security monitor.
