Introduction Biomass is considered as a potential source of an abundantly available and renewable energy resource. Among all biomass conversion processes, gasification is one of the promising ones.One of the major issues in biomass gasification is to deal with the tar in hot gas which will condense at low temperature and cause serious hazard to the equipment downstream 1.
