NUMERIAL SIMULATION OF LOW NOz COMBUSTION TECHNOLOGY IN A 410t/h BITUMINOUS COAL-FIRED WALL BOILER
IntroductionNox is one of the main pollutants, which pollutes the environment terribly, so control of its yield and emission has been more and more emphasized. With the promotion of peoples request for lowering pollution of the environment, Nox emission limit index in many countries is more and more low. For example, from 2008. In EU the allowed concentration for power plants over 500 Mwe is 500 mg NO2/Nm3 at 6(%) O2. From 2016 the limit allowed for power plants over 500 Mwe will be 200 mg NO2/Nm3 at 6% O21. This urges to develop much lower Nox emission control technique again 1,2. Domestic new units commonly adopt Low Nox Combustion technology, for example, fuel staging and air staging. But for some old units not adopting technology above, it is an urgent problem need to resolve how to reduce Nox emissions to meet environmental requirements.
