Utility Mazimization Strategies in the Multi-User MIMO Downlink
The problem of maximizing utility over the capacity region of the MIMO broadcast channel is addressed. While a direct solution is not possible, it is discussed how decomposition techniques can be used to find an optimum solution. Two decompositions are considered: A standard dual decomposition and a gradient projectionbased decomposition.
