Irradiation Effect of 60Co γ-rays on Tartarian Buckwheat
Three different varieties of tartarian buckwheat seeds were irradiated with various doses(100-500Gy)of 60Coγ-rays. The effect of the character of seedlings, the alteration of the permeability of cell membrane and the activity of protective enzyme were studied. The results showed that 60Coγ-rays can have certain degree effect On germination rate, seedling height, root length, the permeability of membrane, malondialdehyde concentration, the activity of SOD and POD.With the increase of dose. The effect increases gradually.But the effect on different vmefies varies. The effect on Yu 62-1 was obviously larger than the other two varieties, which indicated that the radiosensitivity of Yu 62-1 was larger.
