Heredity Analysis of Flavone and A gronomic Characters among Radiated Tartary Buckwheat Mutants

The Study was made on the genetic variation of the Co-γradiation induced flavone mutant M3 generation and M4 generation of three varieties of tartary buckwheat. The results indicated that the heredity was relatively strong in plant height, number of branches, and 1000-grains weight, and there was a bigger genetic variance coefficient in number ofgrains per plant, grain weight, and number of branches.Coeffcient Path Analysis revealed that there was a significant positive correlation among number of brancbes, number of grains per plant, 1000-grains weight and grain weight per plant, indicating that these parameters have a relatively higher genetic advance on the increase of grain weight per plant, thus can be used as an alternative selection parameter to grain weight per plant. The analysis on the correlation of level of flavone and every agronomic parameters discovered the positive correlation between grain number per plant and other aspects like plant height, number of main stem nodes, number of branches. In particular, the positive correlation to plant height reached degree of extreme sigmficant. The 1000-grains weight and level of flavone shown a negative correlation.
