Determination of Albumin + Globulin Polymorphism in Buckwheat Accessions Preserved in Czech Gene Bank

Collection of 50 common buckwheat accessions and 11 accessions of tartary buckwheat with different place of origin were evaluated by discontinuous SDS-PAGE electrophoresis. Bulked samples of protein fraction of albumin+globulin were analyzed. In the electrophoreograms, there were identified differences in presence of 19 protein bands. There was created similarity dendrogram of tested accessions with six significantly different (20% similarity) clusters. Most of clusters were created by varieties presenting very similar origin. On the other hand, some clusters included accessions with significantly different origins.
