A Novel Technique for Translate Fagopyritols into D-Chiro Inositol

This study transformed fagopyritols to D-chiro inositol by pressure hydrolysis for the first time. Orthogonal array with three-level and three-level factors was used here for optimizing the experimental conditions. The concentration could be 6-folded under the stock hydrolyzed at 1.6 MPa for 60 min. The concentration of D-chiro inositol was increased from 0.032 % to 0.20 % which was 6.25-folded compared with the untreated solution.
