Impedance spectroscopy study of LiCuVO4
The compound LiCuVO4 was prepared by the solid state reaction method at 530℃ for 7 days. The X-ray diffraction pattern reveals single phase orthorhombic structure. Impedance spectroscopy measurements were carried out on pellets of the material and at temperatures from 150 to 600℃ with a 25℃ step. Using the results of these measurements, equivalent circuits were drawn, where each element represents a unique conductivity process within the material. The Arrhenius plots of the conductivity mechanisms obtained by the equivalent circuits were drawn and the activation energies of the corresponding processes were calculated. The activation energy of the process associated with double layer capacitance was found to be 1.10 eV, the activation energy of the grain boundary conductivity process was found to be 0.89 eV at temperatures from 150 to 450℃ and 1.89 eV at temperatures from 450 to 600℃ and the activation energy of the bulk conductivity was calculated to be 2.05 eV.
