1 CFRD featuresDiscard the features of design and construction, Focus on the point of operation alone except thecharacteristics of design and the construction, as follows1.1 Water-Retaining structure simpleWater-retaining structure of CFRD is made of one concrete face slab, and the which thickness isgenerally 30 to 50cm. the concrete face slab must endure some operations of huge water pressure,rockfill holding power, gravity force, temperature stress, and other damaging effects of theextrusion and the tear in the cold area. During the construction period, water storage andoperating periods, the face slab rises and descends together with the rockfill, as same piece ofplastics adhere on the face slab of the dam.
