Quality Control of Baiyun Concrete Face Rockfill Dam

摘要：

1 General RemarksBaiyun water resources and hydroelectric project locates in Buchen County, Hunan province, inthe upriver gorge of the Wu River, 5 kilometers from Buchen city. The project is composed ofdam, flood discharge tunnel, hydropower tunnel, powerhouse, switching station and so on, andthe installed capacity is 3×18MW. The height of the concrete face rock-fill dam is 120m, the damcrest EL. is 550m, and the length of the dam axial is 198.8m. The dam foundation is sandstoneand the upriver and the downriver slope of the dam is 1:1.4, and the embankment capacity of thedam is 1587000m3, excluding 78000m3 blanket clay.
