HAZARD EVALUATION SYSTEM FOR EARTHQUAKE-INDUCED SITE LIQUEFACTION BASED ON COUPLING MODEL OF ANN AND GIS
COMGIS (Component Geography Information System) technique is adopted to develop the Hazard Evaluation System for Earthquake-induced Site Liquefaction combined with BP ANN (Artificial Neural Network) model. The details are as follows: (1) By calling a commercial software SHAKE91 to analyze the seismic effect of level layered site, the ground motion influence field can be simulated under scenario earthquake. (2) Site liquefaction potential can be evaluated by BP model by importing ANN toolbox from Matlab under VB. (3) The results from BP model can be simulated spatially by GIS, and the distribution of site liquefaction potential also can be graphed. The research shows that: a. SHAKE91 can be called from the system menu to simulate the ground motion influence field. b. The relatively perfect results can be obtained when BP model is utilized. c. By GIS, the evaluated results can be perfectly matched with the site information spatially.
