WATER-RESERVIOR COUPLING STABILITY ANALYSIS OF JINGHONG CONCRETE GRAVITY DAM

In the study, the stability of JingHong concrete gravity dam with full water under the earthquake is discussed. The water-reservior coupling analysis is presented by FEM and FDM. A relevant computer program for computing the dynamic water pressure is developed and applied into the seismic computation of the gravity dam of JingHong under the earthquake intensity of 8 degrees. By combining the general FEM soft ANSYS and the FDM soft FLAC3D, the nonlinear results are obtained and feasible for the reference of the gravity dam.
