Safety Assessment and Hidden Trouble Treatment of Water Projects in China
This paper introduced the construction and deterioration conditions of water projects including reservoirs, dikes, sluices and irrigation ditches in China, and analyzed the reasons causing the deterioration of water projects. Also, the current conditions of safety administration and assessment of water projects, monitoring and detecting of hidden troubles, as well as the application of treatment technology were briefly outlined and analyzed. From the viewpoint of sustainable utilization and establishment of a frugality-type society, the significance of proper execution of project safety assessment and hidden trouble treatment was highlighted. In addition, how to properly execute water project safety administration and assessment, and hidden trouble detection and treatment, how to improve monitoring, detecting and management technology were discussed in this paper. Finally, some advices are put forward.
