The Automatic Safety Monitoring System of Xiaolangdi Multipurpose Dam Project

摘要：

The Automatic Safety Monitoring System of Xiaolangdi Multipurpose Dam Project is one of the biggest systems in China, which is dominant for its level of automatization and application in monitoring the safety of the hydro dam. This paper summarizes and illustrates development and application of this system with respect to automatic data collection system, manual observation data input and transmission as well as dam safety monitoring system, etc. In addition, this paper gives an initial study on experience and shortages of this system, hoping to make reference for other projects in this field.
