The Spray Polyurethane(urea) Technology and Its Application in the Hydraulic Abrasion-resistant and Anticorrosion Engineering
The polyurea and polyurethane-urea spray technologies are featured with solvent-free, thick-coatable, fast-curing, short spray cycle, good toughness, excellent abrasion-resistant and anti-corrosion. The applications in many areas have been found including water engineering. Spray polyurea and spray polyurethane-urea technologies can be used in impingement-resistant and abrasion-resistant protective coatings in flood discharge dam buildings, waterproof and antiseepage coatings, and used as anticorrosion and rust-resistant protective coatings for concrete and steel structures. The performance merits, material physical properties, spray equipment and process characteristics of spray polyurea and spray polyurethane-urea technologies are simply introduced. The applications of the technology in water conservancy projects are introduced.
