Application of FOG in Shuibuya High CFRD
Traditional means such as fixed or sliding pitch tester for slab deflection, tension lead horizontal displacement gauge for internal deformation monitoring and pipe type settlement instrument for both horizontal and vertical displacements is still used in CFRD at present. Due to the limits in technology and experience, there are somehow many disadvantages such as interference to construction, difficult for automatic monitoring in construction period and high expenses. Therefore, research in this aspect is of high values both in theoretical and practice. Combining with the application of FOG new technology, and through lab research and the application in actual engineering practice, the application of FOG in dam safety monitoring is possible.
