China PCB Industry, Environment Challenges and Solutions for Sustainable Development
China printed circuit industry keeps rapid growth in the past decade and has become the largest PCB manufacturing country with sale turnover exceeded 14 billion USD in 2007. Although foreign invested printed circuit corporations lead the expansion and development, Chinese local private businesses have caught up in the past years and gradually stand out in certain fields. Today China government focuses on energy saving, consumption reduction, emission reduction and efficiency improvement in industries and will conduct national wide survey on pollution and waste treatment. In the meantime, to cope with high trade unbalance, the government has changed polices such as VAT refund rate. Will China PCB industry overcome environment challenges and turn to clean production for future development? This paper will provide illustrations and outlook for the future trend and development of China PCB industry.
