Study of geological hazard’s assessment on coastline change

In order to discuss the coastal geological hazard assessment method,the author chooses the typical hazards caused by the change of coastline as object of study.The fuzzy hierarchy comprehensive evaluation approach based on GIS is applied to study and demonstrate the main principle and process of coastal hazard assessment.then,taking Baoan district of Shenzhen as example,we carried on hazard assessment on the change of coastline by using fuzzy hierarchy evaluation method based on GIS.And then conduct the regionalization research of coastal geological hazard.The data of three periods is selected to explain the coastline change.The result of remote sensings data indicate that apart from the west seacoast which has no basically change ,the coastline change of Baoan district is quite obvious during the seventeen years form 1989 to 2006.
