The simulation and analyses of stresses field of ceramic die in wire drawing process

The forces of die are very complicated in factual drawing process,and it is difficult to describe the whole status through the formulae clearly.So the stresses distribution and force situation of die were simulated by finite element method in order to research the stresses distribution of ceramic die in drawing process.The simulation environment was established by modelling,loading boundary,solving and visual simulating.The simulation results showed that the stresses occurred at deformation and invariable zone are very large in internal hole of die and the disable reason of die is friction and the wear at the deformation zone and invariable zone.
