The Image Denoising Method Based On Adaptive Wiener Filter And Wavelet Packet Transformation
A new image denoising method is proposed in this paper,which integrates adaptive wiener filter with wavelet packet transformation to realize the balance between the noise attenuation,detail texture and edge information preservation in image denoising.It fully utilized wavelet packet transformation to decompose the low frequency parts and the high frequency parts of the image simultaneously and portray the edge information of the image well with more precise partial analysis ability,namely it can describe the detail texture well.And adaptive wiener filter can remove the noise of the image background without destroying the edge information,it is optimal in the minimum mean square error (MMSE) sense.In this way,it not only achieves better denoising effect,but also keeps the image edge information well,and makes the detail texture of the image much clearer in the process of noise elimination.So this achieves a good result between the visual effect and the signal to noise ratio.
