Modeling on Conflict Resolution of Collaborative Design
This paper discusses collaborative design,emphasizing on conflict resolution.Collaborative design allows the designers work closely with suppliers,manufacturing partners,and customers across the enterprise to complete the same task,which is an important means in network manufacture.Because the different designers are concerned with various target,which cause the conflict.And this phenomenon is a point problem for collaborative design.Firstly,the class of conflict is addressed to make a basis for conflict resolution.The conflict is classified into data conflict,knowledge conflict and recourses conflict.Then the conflict resolution method is applied.The resolution model is set up.And according to the conflict,four resolution methods are applied,which are constrained and relaxation method,method based on reasoning,reasoning method based on example and law of arbitration.The process of resolution is provided.Dead locks phenomena are danger for system.So the problem should be solved reasonably.A set of dead lock resolution mechanism are provided to solve the problem.By means of a case study,we show how the solution we propose can assist designers during the conflict resolution.
