Guaranteed Cost Control with Position and Rate Limited 2nd Order Actuator
A novel design approach via linear matrix inequality for a class of robust guaranteed cost controllers is proposed in this study,in which a class of continuous time linear systems with norm bounded time-varying uncertainty and the 2nd order actuator’s position and rate limited are considered simultaneously.The sufficient condition for the existence of the guaranteed cost controller is derived,which is equivalent to the feasibility problem of a certain linear matrix inequality so that the controller can be parameterized.The approach is applied to design controller for a specified plant.The simulation results demonstrate the proposed design approach efficient and effective.
