Stability analysis for a class of T-S fuzzy systems based on free weighting matrices

The problem of delay-dependent stability of a class of uncertain T-S fuzzy systems is studied.Firstly,free weighting matrices are introduced in the derivative of the Lyapunov function.By employing Lyapunov analysis method,a delay-dependent stability criterion for fuzzy unforced systems is obtained.Then,base on the stability criterion,sufficient conditions for the existence of fuzzy controller are devised.Because Park or Moon inequality is not used in the main process of the result,the new criterions are less conservative than the exiting ones.Finally,a simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness and advantage of the approach proposed.
