Sensitivity Study of Generalised Frequency Response Functions

For linear systems the Frequency Response Function(FRF) can be considered as inherent and invariant, that is,totally independent of input signals, which makes it powerful in many applications such as design, analysis and control. While for the weakly nonlinear systems where Generalised Frequency Response Functions(GFRF’s) play a similar role as the FRF to linear systems, the interpretations of the GFRF’s with respect to different input situations can be argued. In this paper the dependence and independence of input signal amplitudes for Generalised Frequency Response Functions are discussed based on parametric modelling.
