Analyzing Distribution and Evolution of Research Interests by Term Extraction and Ontology Learning

摘要：

This paper introduces DynamicView, a novel Semantic Web application, for users to query, browse and visualize distribution and evolution of research interests in temporal, spatial and ontological dimensions. We present motivation and requirements for a system like DynamicView, and discuss its architecture. We outline main algorithms for term extraction from web pages of researchers and ontology learning from digital libraries, and sketch visualizations we used in the interface.
