External Controlled Synchronization Motions of a Hysteretic System and a Duffing System with Feedback
Two or more dynamical systems could be achieved into an external synchronization motion with a special designed controller, where one dynamical system is regarded as the master, and the other is regarded as the slave. In the paper, a general strategy realizing external synchronization was introduced firstly. Then, a master-slave synchronization system combined with two kinds of dynamical systems is studied. The mater system is composed of a hysteretic term coming from friction, and at the same time, the slave system with harden stiffness characteristics with third orders of deformations due to flexible deformation. With the control strategy, based on all observation variables of the master, the slave system is proposed to keep synchrony with the master movements. The stability of the synchronization errors is then analyzed. Different synchronization motions are compared with each other in the cases of different system parameters of the two dynamical models, and some discussions on control parameters are also included.
