Effect of Damp on Bifurcation of a Rub-Impact Jeffcott Rotor
The nonlinear characteristics of the vibration of a rub-impact Jeffcott rotor was investigated. The effect of damping coefficien on rub has been studied according to the results of numerical simulation. The bifurcation diagram by using damping coefficien as the control parameter, as well as axes contrails, times-history, corresponding Poincare maps and phase plane portraits were given, when the response of the system is periodic、quasi-periodicand chaotic motions.
