Using Analytic Network Process and Goal Programming for Flexible Operation Plan Selection
Flexible Operation Plan (FOP) selection problems in a Computer Integrated Flexible Manufacturing System (CIFMS) are Multi-Attribute Decision-Making (MADM) problems. Existing methods for FOP selection do not reflect interdependencies among attributes and candidate plans. Considering these interdependencies among attributes provides valuable cost savings and greater benefits to manufacturing companies. When we evaluate flexible operation plans, we need to collect a group opinion because to know the interdependence relationship among attributes and attributes in considered flexible operation plans is very important. In order to collect experts’ opinion for interdependent FOP selection problem, we should use a questionnaire. In this paper, we suggest an improved FOP selection method, which reflects interdependencies among evaluation attributes and candidate plans using Analytic Network Process (ANP) within a Mixed Integer Goal Programming (MIGP) model.
