Toward to The Process Interaction in Order to Improve The Enterprise Capability
The business configuration is in the form of processes, one of the crucial points to bring to a successful of enterprise. Numerous approaches have been developed in the past for performance improvement in production systems such as ISO9000: 2000, BPR, Six Sigma, Knowledge management, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Continuous improvement approaches but little effort has been applied to the coordination and the collaboration in the zone of process interaction within enterprise. As a result, processes interaction concern at different level of processes enterprise. Nevertheless, description of production process can use the enterprise modeling tools such as ARIS, ADONIS, OSSAD, CIMOSA and IDEF. However, the enterprise modeling tools do not illustrate the process interactions. The enterprise composed of several processes including process interactions that relate directly the efficiency of firm. Often, dysfunctions or failure problems occur in zone of process interactions. This paper proposes an approach that applies techniques in order to reduce dysfunction or failure problems in the process and process interaction. This approach combines techniques: the relationship of internal supplier/customer, SIPOC (supplier – input – process – output – customer) of Six Sigma and IDEF3x process diagram in order to illustrate relationship between supplier-input-processoutput-customer. Using Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) analyzes and detects dysfunction or failure problem causes. PFMEA is a technique to systematically record failure problems, their criticality, and possible elimination or reduction these problems.
