Inventory Harmonization of South-to-North Water Transfer Project Supply Chain Based on Changeable Water Purchasing Quantity
In South-to-North Water Transfer Project supply chain, project water demand of the node lake was influenced by many factors. Consequently, it is necessary for the node lake to adjust water purchasing quantity before all purchased water was transported to the node lake. This study chose the water supply chain consisting of the pumping mouth at the Changjiang River and a single node lake as research object. When independent inventory control strategy was implemented in water supply chain, the study discussed water inventory control model of the node lake. Then it advances inventory harmonization strategy of water supply chain when water purchasing quantity of the node lake can be adjusted partially. Finally, according to the idea of water harmonization strategy based on changeable water purchasing quantity, it deduces optimal water purchasing quantity of the node lake and profit models of the Changjiang River and the node lake.
