A Contribution to Emergency Medical Systems Modelling and Simulation

This paper presents both generic knowledge model design for health services in emergency medical systems and its implementation into New Hospital of Estaing (NHE). Within the framework of ASDI modelling methodology (Analysis, Specification, Design, Implementation), the knowledge model for a health service in paediatric emergency medical service in NHE is used then both action and results models for paediatric emergency medical systems are designed. Results of various scripts have been analysed. Knowledge model has been built with ARIS (Architecture of Integrated Information System) event driven process chains (EPCs) and simulation model has been performed with WITNESS.
