Determination of the Delay in Payment from the Perspective of Supplier

摘要：

Delay in payment models have been studied traditionally from the point of view of the buyer (retailer), but not the supplier. These studies focus on the problem of determining the optimal ordering policy for the buyer, given a delay in payment schedule set by the supplier. In this paper, we analyze how a supplier can structure the terms of an optimal delay in payment schedule. Finally numerical examples are shown to illustrate the results given in the paper.
