The ISC-Based Processing Approach to the AHP Group Judgment Matrices
When the current processing approaches to group judgment matrices (GJM) are applied in the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) analysis, a few problems often appear because of the constructed synthetic judgment matrix incapable of satisfying the logic consistency, and of experts’ subjective judgment information being unreasonably used or explained. To provide a more reasonable approach, the theoretical thought of intelligent structure control (ISC) is presented in this paper based on the complex system theory of meta-synthesis from qualitative analysis to quantitative analysis (MSQAQA). The ISC proposes that the more experts have the same opinion on a structure relation, the more approximate to the objective system relations the opinion is and the more important to final analysis results the opinion is. Based on the ISC thought and the MSQAQA theory, a new processing approach to the GJM is presented by the technique of artificial neural network (ANN). By a numerical example, the presented approach proves to be a more powerful tool for properly processing the GJM.
